Meet the team

William heads our agricultural services. He is the son of a North Somerset farmer and attended the University of Nottingham, doing a degree in Agricultural Science.

Following various jobs in agricultural, including agricultural botanist, lecturer, and farmer, William qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and later became a fellow.

William started William Withers & Co the same year he qualified and over that time the business has grown to its current state, with a wide range of clients.

Peter is a Chartered Accountant and a trusted advisor to his clients, providing strategic advice and support to owners of small and medium sized businesses.

Peter predominately looks after our corporate clients and is relied upon for his proactive tax and remuneration planning, while also advising on more complex tax matters and corporate finance.

Pete joined the practice in 2006, progressing to Director in 2015. Pete is a Fellow Member of The Association of Accounting Technicians.

Pete grew up on a farm and worked with his father William, rearing beef and sheep. More recently he has moved on to keeping horses and chickens with his partner and two boys.
